Statement by the Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Ballistic Missile Test by Iran

  1. Japan is concerned that the ballistic missile test that Iran announced it conducted on August 11 might have a serious effect on the stability in the region and the security of the international community.

  2. Japan intends to continue urging Iran to voluntarily refrain from conducting ballistic missile launching experiments.
