Statement by the Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the Adoption of a Resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors on Iran's Nuclear Issue

- Japan welcomes the adoption without a vote of a resolution on Iran's nuclear issue at the November meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on November 29 (Mon) in Vienna.
- Hoping that Iran's nuclear issue will be promptly resolved, Japan deems it very important for Iran to take this resolution seriously and respond to it with sincerity. Japan strongly urges Iran to sincerely implement all the requirements of the relevant IAEA resolutions including the suspension of all uranium enrichment-related and reprocessing activities without exception.
