Assistance for Reproductive Health in Senegal

  1. On January 22 (Wednesday), the Government of Japan and the United Nations (UN) decided to extend a total of 709,779.18-US dollar assistance through the Trust Fund for Human Security to the project "Community-based Reproductive Health/ Family Planning Services at Health and Reproductive Service Delivery Points" to be implemented by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

  2. This project aims to improve the reproductive health status of women, men, and adolescents in Tambacounda and Kolda Regions in Senegal. Activities include education on reproductive health and family planning, improvement of health facilities and training for better health service.

  3. This project is expected to give people a chance to learn reproductive health and access to better health service.
