Assistance for Reproductive Health in Indonesia

- On December 27 (Friday), the Government of Japan and the United Nations (UN) decided to extend the total of 1,355,061.82 - US dollar assistance through the Trust Fund for Human Security to the project "Reproductive Health Support in Emergency Situations" in Indonesia to be implemented by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
- The objective of this project is to contribute to psychological and physical reproductive health well-being of women Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in six provinces including Aceh. A series of activities include the provision of clean delivery services, prevention and management of sexual violence, provision of contraceptives, and prevention of HIV infection and other STIs.
- This project is expected to improve reproductive health status of women IDPs in the provinces covered by this project.
