Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Ricardo Lagos Escobar, President of the Republic of Chile

His Excellency Mr. Ricardo Lagos Escobar, President of the Republic of Chile, accompanied by a suite, paid an official working visit to Japan from February 12 to February 15, 2003.
During their stay in Japan, the President held a meeting with Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, Prime Minister of Japan.
The Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honor of President Lagos.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of President Lagos, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the Republic of Chile.
