VIP Visits
Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs visited Slovakia on January 12-13, 2007. It was the first visit by Japanese foreign minister to Slovakia since it became independent in 1993. Minister Aso met with Prime Minister Fico and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kubis during his stay in Slovakia.
Mr. Jan Kubis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic visited Japan on October 11-14, 2007, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Minister Kubis met with Minister for Foreign Affairs Koumura during his stay in Japan.
