Cultural Exchanges

(1) In 1990, an avant-grade dancing group of Aomori, Japan, participated in the Vanuatu's 10th independence anniversary festival. Their performance was well received by the people of Vanuatu.

(2) Japan Overseas Cooperative Volunteers (JOCV) open Japanese movie theater for Vanuatu people a couple of times every year.

(3) The Vanuatu TV broadcasts Japan video topics since 1998.
