Establishment of the Taiwan Visit Japan Campaign (VJC) Promotion Committee

November 17, 2003

1. In order to promote the Visit Japan Campaign (VJC) in Taiwan, on Monday, November 17, 2003, the Taiwan Visit Japan Campaign (VJC) Promotion Committee to be headed by the Chief Representative of the Taiwan Office of the Interchange Association Mr. Katsuhisa Uchida was established.
2. The Promotion Committee will engage in support and cooperation for marketing activities designed to increase the number of Taiwanese visitors to Japan, and will offer advice from a local perspective for the planning and implementation of the VJC and other PR activities to promote the attractiveness of Japan in Taiwan.
