Visit to Japan of His Excellency General Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

His Excellency Gen. Pervez Musharraf, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and Mrs. Musharraf, accompanied by a suite, paid an official working visit to Japan from March 12 to 15, 2002.
During his stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Musharraf made a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress hosted a Court Luncheon in honor of the President and Mrs. Musharraf.
The President also held a meeting with Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, Prime
Minister of Japan.
The Prime Minister of Japan hosted a Dinner in honor of the President and Mrs. Musharraf.
The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Musharraf, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
