on the Bombing Incident on the Island of Bali, Indonesia

- Japan expresses its heartfelt condolences for the hundreds of victims, mainly foreigners, who have suffered from the bombing incident that occurred at a night club in the Legian district of Bali, Indonesia on the evening of October 12.
- Japan expects that the cause of this incident will be investigated at an early stage and intends to watch carefully and with concern further developments of this incident.
- Japan will continue to take all possible measures to confirm the safety of Japanese nationals and to gather related information.
