Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia

His Excellency Mr. Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia visited Japan from 6 to 14 June 2001.
During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Hun Sen participated in the Consultative Group Meeting for Cambodia hosted by Japan (12, 13). Prime Minister also held talks with prominent members of the Japanese Government as well as members of the Diet to exchange views on the strengthening of Japan-Cambodia relations.
In addition, Prime Minister Hun Sen took part in "The International Conference on The Future of Asia 2001 - Beyond 'Globalism' "sponsored by Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc. (Nikkei) (7, 8). Prime Minister also visited Oita prefecture to observe an example of regional promotion through "One Village One Product Movement".
