ASEAN I
Title: Highschool Student Exchange Program for Japan and ASEAN
Financing Resources: Japan-ASEAN Solidarity Fund
- A) To invite ASEAN High School Students to Japan

- Number of Students: 70 (7 Students from each ASEAN countries)
- Activities: Japanese language courses, Study in high schools, Homestay, Study tour in Japan
- B) To send Japanese High School Students to ASEAN countries

- Number of Students: 70
- Hosting Countries: Indonesia (18 students), Malaysia (18), Thailand (18), Philippines (16)
- Activities: Homestay, Introduction of Japanese culture in high schools, Courtesy visits to Japanese Embassy, Ministry of Education, etc., Visits to Japan Foundation, JICA, NGO, etc., Utilising IT for alumni activities, Organisation of symposium
ASEAN II
Title: Short Term Exchange Program for ASEAN High School Students
Financing Resources: Japan-ASEAN Exchange Programme (JAEP)

- Number of Students: 30 (3 Students from each ASEAN countries)

Title: Long Term Exchange Program for ASEAN High School Students
Financing Resources: Japan-ASEAN General Exchange Fund (JAGEF)
- A) To invite ASEAN High School Students to Japan

- Number of Students: 40 (about 3 students from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, about 5 students from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam)
- Activities: Japanese language courses, Study in high schools, Homestay, Study tour
