The purpose of the E-JUST Project is to establish a research-oriented Egyptian national university of science and technology with a Japanese style approach. E-JUST is expected to be a central educational hub in the Middle East and the Arab. The expected number of total students is around 3,000. Japan's cooperation to this Project will consist of assistance for formulating a grand design and curriculum and for managing the whole system of E-JUST. In that context, Japan will dispatch 5-10 core professors, and will provide essential equipment for laboratories.
