On May 21 (Japan Standard Time), Minister of Foreign Affairs Fumio Kishida sent a message to the Honorable John Kerry, U.S. Secretary of State, in the wake of the tremendous damage caused by a tornado that hit the State of Oklahoma in the afternoon on May 20 (local time).
In his message, Minister Kishida expressed his condolences and sympathy for the victims and their families and also expressed his expectation toward a quick recovery of the affected areas.
