1. From September 7 to 8, Mr. Masahiko Komura, Vice-President, Liberal Democratic Party (Chairman of the Japan-Iran Parliamentarians Friendship League and a former Minister for Foreign Affairs), is scheduled to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a Special Envoy of the Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
2. During his stay in Iran, Mr. Komura is expected to have a meeting with Dr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to exchange views regarding Japan-Iran bilateral relations and international affairs including the nuclear issue.
