(1) Announcement of Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) White Paper 2012
Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida: At today’s Cabinet Meeting, I reported the announcement of Japan’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) White Paper 2012.
This year’s White Paper introduces ODA for the realization of a free, prosperous, and stable international community and ODA to bolster trust in Japan, while also placing focus on the contributions of ODA to the Japanese economy. In addition, it also covers Japan’s disaster prevention cooperation.
It is my hope that the Japanese people will deepen their interest in and understanding of Japan’s ODA through this white paper.
