Japan's Presentation on "Evaluation of Aid for Trade" at the Joint Meeting of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and Working Party of the Trade Committee on Aid for Trade
At the Joint Meeting of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and Working Party of the Trade Committee on Aid for Trade, held from September 10 to 11, 2012, in Paris, Dr. Tatsufumi Yamagata, Director-General, International Exchange and Training Department, Institute of Development Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), made a presentation on "Evaluation of Aid for Trade."
This evaluation was implemented in FY2011 as ODA policy-level evaluation (third-party evaluation) "Priority Issue Evaluation: Evaluation of Aid for Trade." Dr. Yamagata, who conducted this evaluation as the Chief Evaluator, provided beneficial information which formed the basis of the discussion at the Joint Meeting.
