Economic Diplomacy
Japan is promoting the Economic Diplomacy, as explained in the Foreign Policy Speech by the Minister for Foreign Affairs to the 177th Session of the Diet, which consists of the following five pillars, now in the context of the efforts of the Japanese Government to reconstruct Japan after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

- Stable Supply of Resources, Energy and Food to Japan
- Exportation of Infrastructure Abroad
- Inbound Tourism Promotion
- Promotion of "Japan Brand"
