Opening Ceremony Held for APEC JAPAN EXHIBITION "JAPAN EXPERIENCE ～ Ideas into Reality～"

The exhibition titled "JAPAN EXPERIENCE" was open at the Exhibition Hall, Pacifico Yokohama on November 6 (Sat) for visitors to see, touch and feel "Japan's Strengths", a collection of cutting-edge technologies on the occasion of the APEC Economic Leaders' Meetings in which delegations from 21 APEC Member Economies and media personnel are participating.

The opening ceremony was held from 15:00 on the same day. Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshito Sengoku, Mayor of Yokohama City/Chairperson of APEC 2010 the Promotion Council of Yokohama, Fumiko Hayashi, Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture/Special Adviser of APEC 2010 the Promotion Council of Yokohama, Shigefumi Matsunaga, and other personnel concerned attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony. More than 100 attendants including the guests observed the exhibition, which consists of three zones of "The Gallery", "The Guesthouse" and "The Garden", as well as displays from the Japan Tourism Agency, the local governments, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
