1. The Honorable Leon E. Panetta, Secretary of Defense of the United States of America, will visit Japan from September 16 to 17.
   
   
2. During his stay in Japan, on September 17, Secretary Panetta is scheduled to hold a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba as well as a meeting with Minister of Defense Satoshi Morimoto among other events.
