From Monday, August 27 to Thursday, August 30, H.E. Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, President of the Republic of Haiti, and Mrs. Martelly, will make a working visit to Japan.
During his stay in Japan, President Martelly is scheduled to hold a meeting with Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan.
President Martelly will be the first incumbent President of the Republic of Haiti to visit Japan, and it is expected that his visit will further strengthen the bilateral relations between Japan and the Republic of Haiti.
