Study Tour to Niigata Prefecture by a Diplomatic Corps in Japan

  1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour with Niigata Prefecture for a Diplomatic Corps in Japan from Wednesday, July 11 to Thursday, July 12.

  2. This Study Tour is held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional attractions such as cultures and industries for diplomats in Japan.

  3. During the Study Tour, the participants are scheduled to deepen their understanding of Niigata Prefecture through visits to facilities concerning industries, culture and traditional craftwork, and to exchange opinions with people from a variety of sectors, including private enterprises.

  4. Expected Participants:
    13 diplomats from 10 countries and 1 permanent mission in Japan - Bahrain, Lebanon, Samoa, Zambia, Kenya, Senegal, Papua New Guinea, Namibia, Lithuania, India and the EU
