  1. The Honorable Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State of the United States of America, will visit Japan from Saturday, July 7, to Monday, July 9, upon the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

  2. During her stay in Japan, Secretary Clinton is scheduled to attend the "Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan" on Sunday, July 8, to pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda and to hold a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs Koichiro Gemba, among other events.
