From December 5 to December 8, H.E. Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly, President of the Republic of Haiti, and Mrs. Martelly, will make a working visit to Japan.
During their stay in Japan, Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan will meet President Martelly and Mrs. Martelly. Moreover, Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan, is scheduled to hold a meeting with President Martelly.
President Martelly will be the first incumbent President of the Republic of Haiti to visit Japan, and it is expected that his visit will further strengthen the bilateral relations between Japan and the Republic of Haiti.
