Mr. Lorenzo Reyes Tañada III, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Republic of the Philippines, will visit Japan from Tuesday October 30 to Tuesday November 6 as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Japan.
During his stay in Japan, he will have meetings with Mr. Kazuya Shimba, Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs and Mr. Seishiro Eto, Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives respectively, and also have a conversation with members of the Japan-Philippines Parliamentarians’ Friendship League (President : Mr. Hajime Ishii, Member of the House of Councilors), etc.
It is expected that this visit by the Deputy Speaker Tañada to Japan will further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between Japan and the Philippines.
