Visit to Japan by H.E. Mrs. Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia

- From Wednesday, October 10, to Tuesday, October 16, H.E. Mrs. Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of the Republic of Liberia, will visit Japan.
- President Sirleaf is scheduled to attend seminars related to the Annual General Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) during her stay in Japan.
- President Sirleaf is scheduled to be received by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan during her stay in Japan. Moreover, Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan, is scheduled to hold a meeting with President Sirleaf to exchange opinions on Japan-Liberia bilateral relations, international affairs, and other issues.
- It is expected that President Sirleaf’s visit to Japan will further develop the friendly relations between Japan and Liberia.
