- On Friday, February 3, the 11th meeting of the Japan-Saudi Arabia Joint Committee will be held at Iikura Guest House of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo.
- From the Japanese side, H.E. Mr. Koichiro Gemba, Minister for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr. Yukio Edano, Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and other government officials will attend the meeting. The Saudi side will be represented by H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Jasser, Minister of Economy and Planning, and other government officials.
- At this meeting, there will be exchange of views on strengthening of bilateral relations in a broad context based on the progress in bilateral cooperation made thus far since the 10th Japan-Saudi Arabia Joint Committee meeting in May 2010, with a focus on economic issues such as energy, industrial cooperation, and improvement of business environment.
