  1. Mr. Kurt M. Campbell, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, will visit Japan from June 17 (Thu) to June 18 (Fri).

  2. During his visit, Assistant Secretary of State Campbell will discuss issues   such as Japan-U.S. relations and the Asia-Pacific situation with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other people concerned.
