  1. H. E. Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister and Minister of the Treasury of Luxembourg, will visit Japan from May 19 (Wed) to 20 (Thu).

  2. During his visit, Prime Minister Juncker is scheduled to meet with Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan, and exchange views regarding bilateral relations, EU affairs, and other topics. Prime Minister Juncker will also exchange views with people involved in the economic world, and will receive an honorary doctorate from Sophia University in Tokyo.

  3. This visit to Japan by Prime Minister Juncker is expected to further strengthen the friendly relationship between Japan and the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
