Visit to Japan by Mr. Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Maldives

  1. Mr. Ibrahim Hussain Zaki, Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Maldives, is visiting Japan from March 8 (Mon) to 12 (Fri) at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  2. During his visit, Special Envoy Zaki is scheduled to hold exchanges of views with members of the Japanese Diet and government officials regarding issues such as democratization and social and economic development in the Maldives and client change.

  3. It is expected that Special Envoy Zaki's visit to Japan will further develop the friendly relationship between Japan and the Maldives.
