- Ms. Chinami Nishimura, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Geneva and New York from March 2 (Tue) to March 7 (Sun).
- In Geneva, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Nishimura will attend the 13th session of the Human Rights Council on March 3 (Wed). She is scheduled to give a statement regarding Japan’s human rights diplomacy, and also to hold dialogues with UN staff and high-level participants from other countries. On March 4 (Thu), she will attend the Conference on Disarmament and give a statement regarding Japan’s disarmament diplomacy.
- On March 5 (Fri), Parliamentary Vice-Minister Nishimura will attend the Fifty-fourth Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, Beijing + 15, in New York. She is scheduled to give a statement regarding Japan’s efforts regarding gender equality, and also to hold dialogues with high-level participants from other countries.
