Visit to Japan by Mr. Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia

- Mr. Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of the Republic of Estonia, will pay a working visit to Japan from February 13 (Sat) to 17 (Wed).
- During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Ansip will hold an exchange of opinions with Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan, regarding bilateral relations between Japan and Estonia, as well as international affairs.
- On January, 2010 the Government of Japan decided to dispatch Mr. Hideaki Hoshi, Japanese Ambassador to Estonia, to be the first resident ambassador to the country. In addition, next year both countries will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of new diplomatic relations. It is expected that the visit by Prime Minister Ansip will further strengthen the already existing friendly relations between Japan and Estonia.
