Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Choummaly Sayasone President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Mrs. Keosaychay Sayasone

  1. His Excellency Mr. Choummaly Sayasone, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and Mrs. Keosaychay Sayasone, will pay an official visit to Japan from March 2 to 6, 2010, on the occasion of the 55th Anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Japan and the Lao PDR.
  2. During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Sayasone will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan, and Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President and Mrs. Sayasone.  Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with the President.
  3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Sayasone, which will further strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countries.
