Visit to Japan by His Excellency Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama, President of the Republic of Botswana

  1. His Excellency Lieutenant General Seretse Khama Ian Khama, President of the Republic of Botswana will pay a working visit to Japan from October 17 (Sun) to 20 (Wed).

  2. During his stay in Japan, President Khama will be received in audience by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan and have a meeting with Mr. Naoto Kan, Prime Minister of Japan. In addition, he will also exchange views with officials of relevant government agencies and the private sector.

  3. The Government of Japan extends President Khama sincere welcome, as this visit will further strengthen the friendly cooperative relations between Japan and the Republic of Botswana.
