Visit to Canada by Mr. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs

Mr. Koichi Takemasa, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will visit Canada from January 24 (Sun) to 27 (Wed).
During his visit, Minister Takemasa will attend the Ministerial Conference on Haiti in Montreal and explain Japan’s policy regarding aid to Haiti. He will also hold an exchange of view regarding future aid to Haiti with participating countries and related international organizations.
It is expected that this meeting will demonstrate solidarity of the international community to Haiti, and accelerate early relief for the people affected by the disaster in Haiti and actions towards swift reconstruction of Haiti.
