H.E. Ambassador Philip Goldberg, U.S. State Department Coordinator for Implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1874, is scheduled to visit Japan from August 24 (Mon) to August 26 (Wed). On August 25 (Tue), he will hold discussions with Mr. Akitaka Saiki, Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regarding topics such as sanction measures against North Korea based on U.N. Security Council Resolutions. He is also scheduled to hold discussions with other government officials.
