Visit to Japan of Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the President of the Republic of the Philippines, and Mr. Jose Miguel T. Arroyo

  1. Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the President of the Republic of the Philippines and Mr. Arroyo, accompanied by a suite, will pay a working visit to Japan from June 17 to 20, by the invitation of the Government of Japan.
     
  2. During their stay in Japan, the President and Mr. Arroyo will be received in audience by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress. The President will also have a summit meeting with Mr. Taro Aso, Prime Minister of Japan.
     
  3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mr. Arroyo, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Republic of the Philippines.
