  1. Mr. Shintaro Ito, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will host a reception to support the international exchanges of local governments at Iikura House, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on June 3 (Wed) on the occasion of the general assembly of the Japan Association of City Mayors to be held on June 2 and 3.
  2. The reception will be attended by city mayors as well as ward mayors who participate in the general assembly, and the diplomatic corps in Tokyo. They will exchange views on the promotion of international exchange such as sister city and friendship city activities.
  3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs supports various kinds of international activities of local governments, and this reception will be held as part of such support.
