Visit to Japan of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani Heir Apparent of the State of Qatar

His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Heir Apparent of the State of Qatar, will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from 26 to 28 May, 2009.

During his stay in Japan, the Heir Apparent will have an Imperial Audience with His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, and His Majesty the Emperor will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the Heir Apparent.

Mr. Taro Aso, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with the Heir Apparent.

The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Heir Apparent, which will further strengthen friendly relations between Japan and the State of Qatar.
