  1. H.E. Mr. Hugo Rafael Cháves Frías, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, will visit Japan from April 5 (Sun) to 7 (Tue).
  2. During his stay in Japan, President Chávez will be meeting with Prime Minister Taro Aso to discuss mainly bilateral relations including cooperation in the area of energy.
  3. This visit is expected to further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between Japan and Venezuela.
