The Japan-Philippines Sub-Ministerial Meeting

- The Japan-Philippines Sub-Ministerial Meeting will be held on March
12 (Thu) in Tokyo.
- Mr. Kenichiro Sasae, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other
officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will participate from Japanese
side and Mr. Enrique Manalo, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, and other
officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs will participate from the
Philippine side.
- Both sides will exchange views on bilateral relations as well as on regional affairs and global issues in the context of following up the Japan-Philippine Joint Statement signed by both heads of states in 2006 and the Japan Philippine Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) which came into effect in the end of last year.
