- This year marks the 110th anniversary of the first Japanese immigration to Peru, and it is expected that the Ambassador’s visit will further strengthen the friendly relationship between Japan and the Republic of Peru, which has been promoted by President Alan García Pérez’s visit to Japan last March and Prime Minister Taro Aso’s visit to Peru last November.
