Attendance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting by Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs

Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit the Republic of Singapore from November 10 (Tue) to 12 (Thu) to attend the 21st Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial Meeting, which will be held on 11 (Wed) and 12 (Thu).
At the APEC Ministerial Meeting, Minister Okada will exchange views on such issues as addressing the economic crisis and preparing for recovery, strengthening of the multilateral trade system, acceleration of regional economic integration, and how to proceed with measures including the strengthening of human security within APEC regions. On this occasion, Minister Okada will also exchange views with some of the participating ministers on bilateral relations and other issues.
