Visit to Japan by President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr. Lluis Maria De Puig

  1. President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr. Lluis Maria De Puig will pay a visit to Japan from 7th November to 13th November by the invitation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
     
  2. During his visit, Mr. De Puig will have meetings with Mr. Satsuki Eda, President of the House of Councillors, Mr. Seishiro Eto, Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Tetsuro Fukuyama, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Koichi Kato, Senior　Vice-Minister of Justice and Mr. Takaharu Kondo, Justice of the Supreme Court.  He will also deliver speeches at Waseda University and Kobe University.
     
  3. Further strengthening of the relations between Japan and the Council of Europe will be expected from his visit.
