Visit to Japan by H.E. Mr. Alan Garcia, President of the Republic of Peru

H.E. Mr. Alan García, President of the Republic of Peru, will pay an official visit to Japan from November 10 (Tue) to November 11 (Wed).
During his stay in Japan, President García will be received in audience by his Majesty the Emperor of Japan. Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with President García.
The year 2009 commemorates the 110th year of Japanese emigration to Peru, and the two countries, with people of Japanese descent in Peru, economic cooperation from Japan and other factors, have a traditionally friendly relationship. In their meeting, President García and Prime Minister Hatoyama are expected to discuss a wide range of topics including further strengthening of the bilateral relations and cooperation in the international arena.
