Visit to the Republic of Palau by Mr. Yoshiro Mori, Former Prime Minister of Japan

  1. The Government of Japan has decided to dispatch H.E. Mr. Yoshiro Mori, Member of the House of Representatives and former Prime Minister, as Ambassador on Special Mission to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the President of the Republic of Palau on January 15, 2009 (Thu) in Melekeok, Palau.
     
  2. During his stay in Palau, Ambassador Mori will attend the Inauguration Ceremony and have talks with new Palau President Johnson Toribiong and other officials.
     
  3. The Ambassador’s visit is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Japan and the Republic of Palau.
