The Third Ministerial-Level Meeting of the Four-Party Consultative Unit for the “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity”

- On July 2 (Wed), Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs,
will host the third ministerial-level meeting of the Four-Party Consultative
Unit for the “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity”, with the participation
of representatives of Israel, Palestine, and Jordan.
- The meeting will be attended by Dr. Salam Fayyad, Prime Minister and
Dr. Samir Abdullah, Minister of Planning of the Palestinian Authority; Mr.
Gideon Ezra, Minister of Environment Protection of Israel, and Mr. Salaheddin
Al-Bashir, Foreign Minister of Jordan.
- Following the Second Ministerial-Level Meeting held in August 2007, this meeting aims at promoting Japan’s initiative for “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity” for future co-existence and co-prosperity between Israel and Palestine.
