Visit of Mr. Itsunori Onodera, Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Iran (in connection with the kidnapping incident of the Japanese national in Iran)

  1. Following the liberation of Mr. Satoshi Nakamura, who was kidnapped in the southeastern part of Iran, Mr. Itsunori Onodera, Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit Tehran, Iran, to express gratitude to the Government of Iran and receive Mr. Nakamura.
     
  2. After receiving Mr. Nakamura in Tehran on June 16, they will leave Tehran for Japan on the same day.
