Visit to Japan by Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen of the Republic of Finland

- Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen of the Republic of Finland, will
pay a working visit upon invitation by the Japanese Government from June
7 (Sat) to 11 (Wed).
- During his stay in Japan, Mr. Vanhanen will be received by His
Majesty the Emperor of Japan. Mr. Vanhanen, will also meet with Mr. Yasuo
Fukuda, Prime Minister of Japan, to exchange views on bilateral relations
and the international situation.
- . Mr. Vanhanen’s forthcoming visit is expected to strengthen dialogue between Japan and Finland, and further promote the friendly relations which will mark their 90th anniversary next year.
