Visit to Japan by Mr. Tang Jiaxuan, State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China

Mr. Tang Jiaxuan, State Councilor of the People’s Republic of China, will visit Japan from February 20 (Wed) to 24 (Sun) as Guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
During his stay, Mr. Tang will meet with Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, pay courtesy calls on key figures of the Government of Japan, and interact with Japanese political parties.
In view of the forthcoming visit to Japan by Mr. Hu Jintao, President of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Tang will exchange views on the current situation and future prospects of Japan-China relations, cooperation concerned with various issues in the international community, and other matters.
